Engineered to eliminate the play and sloppiness of traditional bed-mounted hitch systems, the Companion series provides the smoothest ride on the road. This hitch is directly compatible with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, enabling you to haul a 5th-wheel or gooseneck hitch with one straightforward system.
Like the Turnoverball hitch, the Companion offers easy installation and removal without sacrificing strength, reliability, or towing power. This system employs a cam-actuated latching mechanism and a simple two-piece design, making installation and removal a breeze. The Companion also has the OEM series, which is designed to work with trucks that already have factory 5th-wheel pucks in their bed, such as Ford, GM, and RAM.
The Companion is available in fixed and sliding configurations. Its sliding configuration allows 12 inches of movement for turning and maneuvering clearance in short-bed trucks. The B&W Companion fifth-wheel hitch has a fully articulating head that allows pivoting front-to-back and side-to-side. The cam-action latching handle makes for an easy release even when parked on non-level sites.
